Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 36 pieces Oreo cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces white chocolate for dipping
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional) for a textured look
  • to taste Candy melts (optional) for color and ears
  • to taste Sprinkles (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips for eyes

Method

Preparation
  1. Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Work in short pulses to avoid overheating the motor. Alternatively, place cookies in a sealed bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with cream cheese until well combined. The mixture should hold together like play dough.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Dipping
  1. Melt the white chocolate and dip each ball, allowing excess to drip off.
  2. Lightly dust cocoa powder over the dipped balls for a textured look.
  3. Before the chocolate sets, press mini chocolate chips into the balls for eyes.
  4. Let the balls cool completely before serving. Chill again for about 15 minutes to firm the coating fully.

Notes

Serve Bunny Oreo Balls family-style on a big platter with pastel paper cups for the kids. Consider dusting with cocoa or drizzling with melted dark chocolate for added contrast. Keep them chilled if serving for longer than an hour on a warm day.
