Preparation
- In a bowl, whisk together your flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well until creamy.
- Gently fold in your dry ingredients until just combined.
- Wrap your dough in plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion out the dough onto the prepared sheets, optionally topping with extra chocolate chips.
- Bake for about 12-14 minutes or until the edges are crispy and the centers still look slightly underbaked.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
