For the pie bombs
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 2-3 medium apples, peeled and diced Any variety you prefer
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 whole egg (for egg wash)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles, about 4-5 inches in diameter.
  3. In a bowl, mix diced apples, cinnamon, and sugar.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture and caramel sauce in the center of each circle.
  5. Fold the crust over the filling and pinch to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with the egg wash.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
