Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter with brown and granulated sugar until combined.
- Add in eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well until creamy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Mix 1/4 cup granulated sugar with a bit of cinnamon and sprinkle on top of the batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or in the fridge for about a week. Reheat in the oven for best results.
