Preparation
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Stir in flour and vanilla extract until the mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat.
- Let it cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time, mixing until smooth.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Drop small spoonfuls of dough into the hot oil, frying until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Coating and Serving
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, and roll the warm churro bites in the mixture.
- Serve with chocolate or caramel dip.
