Ingredients
  

For the cake mixture
  • 1 box cake mix Flavor of your choice
  • 1 jar frosting Any flavor, for binding
For the coating
  • 1 cup chocolate melting wafers For coating the cake pops
  • as needed cups sprinkles For decoration
For assembly
  • 12 pieces lollipop sticks For holding the cake pops

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the cake mix according to package instructions. Bake in a cake pan.
  2. Once the cake has cooled, crumble it into a large bowl.
  3. Mix in the frosting until fully combined, and the mixture holds together.
  4. Form small balls from the mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Freeze the cake balls for about 30 minutes.
Coating
  1. Melt the chocolate according to package instructions.
  2. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and insert it into each cake ball.
  3. Coat each cake ball in melted chocolate and add sprinkles on top.
  4. Let them set on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

Store cake pops in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for longer freshness. For reheating, warm them briefly in the microwave.
